Susan Rubin, MBA, MA

Susan Rubin has more than 35 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations in program management, development, and marketing.  Her career includes working with the American Association of University Women, U.S Peace Corps, the Overseas Education Fund, and the National Commission on the Observance of International Women’s Year.  As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand, she worked with the Women Lawyer’s Association of Thailand and the Asian and Pacific Centre for Women and Development at the United Nations.  While living in Beijing, China she was an advisor on women’s issues working with the All-China Women’s Federation and the American co-sponsor on the first major bilateral conference following the Tiananmen incident of June 1989.  She is a member of the Steering Committee for the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance. 

She currently serves as Assistant Director of the NASW Foundation, where she provides strategic development and support for the Foundation programs and initiatives, including fundraising, communications, marketing, and international programs.  She received a MA Degree in U.S. history from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA Degree from Georgetown University.
