Look for “The NASW Foundation: Social Workers Helping Communities” in the “Women, Children & Family Service” Charities of the Combined Federal Campaign (NASW Foundation is CFC #12538)

Federal employees can support The NASW Foundation, CFC #12538, in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

The CFC is the largest annual workplace charity campaign, raising millions of dollars each year for thousands of non-profits by enabling federal employees to pledge gifts through pre-tax payroll deductions.  The CFC is a great way for federal workers to support charitable and educational social work projects.

Last year, NASWF was listed among independent national charities in the CFC catalog, but for Fall 2009, NASWF joined the “Women, Children & Family Service Charities” federation.  NASWF will appear in the 2009 CFC catalogs as “NASW Foundation: Social Workers Helping Communities” in the Women, Children & Family Service Charities section.

NASW Chapters also benefit from CFC contributions.  Chapters can raise awareness of the CFC opportunity in their home states among social workers and non-social workers, and share in the donations made in their states.  All CFC contributions support charitable and educational initiatives.
