NASW Foundation Presents William Bell with Sarnat Award
In April, NASW Executive Director Betsy Clark traveled to Seattle to
present the Rhoda G. Sarnat Award to 2007 recipient William C.
Bell, MSW, President and CEO of Casey Family Programs. The
Sarnat Award recognizes an individual, group, or organization that
has significantly advanced the public image of professional social
work. Mr. Bell is an unfailing advocate for social workers and the
clients they serve, particularly children and families involved with the
foster care system. He generously agreed to appear in the National
Social Work Public Education Campaign
video, “On Any Given Day,” through which
viewers may learn what it means to practice
social work at the highest, policy-setting level.
