NASW Social Work Pioneers® Listening Conferences DVD Set

Hear first-hand from social work pioneers about the first federal investments in the social work profession. NASW Social Work Pioneers® were convened in November 2006 and February 2007 to recount their years of experience in national policies affecting social work practice and the history of government and private investments in the profession. Together, their experiences document 12 major areas of social work practice and how social work was developed from post-World War II to the present. Their stories of how they worked to ensure that social work developed and thrived from the 1950s onward will inspire today and tomorrow’s social workers and help garner support across the nation for further federal investments in the social work profession.

The conferences are an amazing documentary and tribute to the profession.

With your gift of $25 or more to the L.E.G.A.C.Y. Project, NASW Foundation, you will receive a complimentary DVD set of the November 2006 and February 2007 NASW Social Work Pioneers® Listening Conferences.

To make a donation and receive the DVD set, call (202) 336-8298 or complete and mail the Foundation donation form.
