The purpose of the NASW-NYC EDUCATION FUND is to help increase the visibility and work of NYC Chapter’s educational and programmatic initiatives that align with social work’s core mission of equity, justice, service, and empowerment. NASW-NYC seeks to provide diverse programming that reflects the needs of our diverse city, community, members, and the larger social work profession. Our educational and programmatic endeavors serve to provide thoughtful and engaging opportunities to empower those around us to better understand, and work to address the needs of our society, promote the values of the social work profession through engagement, and help foster a culture of civic and community responsiveness resulting in increased engagement and donations.
