Congratulations to Ambassador Wendy Sherman!

The NASW Foundation is very pleased to extend congratulations to Ambassador Wendy R. Sherman on her nomination by President-elect Joe Biden to serve as Deputy U.S. Secretary of State. Originally a social worker, she is a professor and diplomat who served as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs from 2011 to 2015. Ambassador Sherman was part of the team that led to successful negotiations of the Iran nuclear deal during the Obama Administration.
